Elgrint::Collection::setError(bool) method

Declaration (see MVector.h):

void setError(bool err);

Description

Raises or lowers the error flag for this collection.

Parameters:

Name Type Description
err bool

The new value for the error flag.

Details

If err is true, then the error flag is raised, otherwise it is lowered.

$setError(true) is called automatically by collections in case of an error. setError(false) can be called by reset, operator=, copy constructor, or swapWith. This function is needed mostly for internal use. However, one possible need for it is to lower the error flag to give the collection a "fresh start" while keeping the data.
